Oprahization

Well a short vacation break. I got back last week but have been running hard at catching up. So much to comment on but lets start with this.

Did you see this letter this morning in TBC.

For instance, two weeks ago at UCLA, one of the best public universities in the world, there were 30 separate graduations hosted by academic schools and departments and on campus. These included ceremonies for graduates of the schools of law, medicine, dentistry, theater, film and television, nursing, and engineering. There were also separate commencements for the departments of Chicano/Chicana studies, Afro-American studies and American Indian studies, in addition to the departments of geography, sociology, earth and space sciences, and humanities.

How many of those ethnic studies graduates will be able to use their education to get a real job? Qualified for a government job granting education funds for students wanting ethnic study degrees.
