I think you mean "moron" instead of "maroon" (does that give away my identity?). At any rate, people like those profiled in this video are the reasons why so many religions are screwing up persons who would otherwise be decent human beings. They use horribly faulty logic to prey upon those who just want to live decent lives, and upon their capture, they proceed to persuade them to take out and empty their wallets.
While the video you posted does not state which religious cult is being promoted, I have a decent idea of which one it is. I think these people need to take out their Holy Books and reexamine them. They should also grab a science book while they are at it.
Well actually I did mean maroon, as in a rube, an idiot, so moron would work just as well really.
And yes their faulty logic is the best part. And I'm still wondering about Mr Peanut.
Yup its a scam alrighty. People have that stuff beat into their heads from an early age and its a matter of not being able to see the forest for all the trees. The most liberating thing I ever figured out for myself is that its possible for the two theories to go hand in hand and science can prove it. If you watch the movie Inherit the Wind you can see the stubborn ignorance people have and continue to display to this very day. The Bible is allegorical in its description of creation.
